Aggressive Dog Breeds
There are some aggressive dog breeds that can be a danger to a person but with proper training, these breeds of dogs can also be trained to be loving members of one’s family.
Chows, Pit Bulls, Rottweilers and Giant Schnauzers are some of the larger aggressive dog breeds. These breeds of dogs can be a great danger to children and even adults if their owners do not treat them properly. These aggressive dog breeds scare most people, especially the pit bull breed, but one should understand that even a pit bull can grow into one of the most loving and affectionate dogs if given proper love, attention, care and training.
One can’t expect these types of aggressive dog breeds to grow into a friendly animal if all they do is provide food and water without love, attention and training. The pit bull is often portrayed in the media as a very bad breed of dog to have. The other aggressive dog breeds do not get as much media attention as the pit bull because the pit bull has become known as a “fighting” dog whose owners are very irresponsible. They train their pit bulls to fight, and then they get upset when their dog attacks a child or an adult, Both of which usually result in their dog being put to sleep.
Not all owners of these aggressive dog breeds train their dogs to fight, but even those like the chow that isn’t considered a fighting dog, can be as aggressive as a pit bull if its owner does nothing but ignore it.
If you are considering owning one of these types of aggressive dog breeds or if you already own a dog of one of these breeds, it is your job as a pet owner to train the dog so that it can become as loved as the German Shepard. If you are not committed to spending time, patience and money in having your pet properly trained, you should consider getting a dog that isn’t considered one of the aggressive dog breeds.
There are also smaller dogs that are also considered aggressive dog breeds; these include (but are not limited to) Toy Poodles, Chihuahuas and Dachshunds. Although these aggressive dog breeds are small and usually behave well around adults, they are typically aggressive towards children and can be as dangerous as a pit bull if not provided with proper love, care and training as well.
